One of the most important roles in the Restaurant, Dish Washers are responsible for managing the cleanliness and sanitation of the scullery area. They are integral in providing our Guests with perfect food, every time by making sure the kitchen has clean dishes! They support both the Heart of House and Front of House by making sure the team has everything they need to do their jobs.
Operate the industrial dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils.
Hand wash large cookware items such as pots and pans.
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors.
Ensure all items are sanitized properly and logs are maintained as required.
Handle garbage, recycling, and compost according to restaurant procedures.
Support kitchen operations by promptly returning and restocking clean items.
Assist with light kitchen prep or cleaning tasks during downtime.
Participate in daily opening and closing routines, including deep cleaning duties.
Report equipment issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards set by Alberta Health Services and Boston Pizza.
No prior experience required, but previous work in a kitchen or fast-paced environment is an asset.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions independently or in a team.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment with heat, water, and cleaning chemicals.
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to overall kitchen success.
