Overview

Front of House (FOH) Supervisor

A Front of House Supervisor at Canada's leading casual dining restaurant, Boston Pizza, assists the General Manager with the Restaurant’s daily operations. This includes supporting the training, development, and performance management of the Front of House team members. The Front of House Supervisor supports the team to ensure that our most important people, our Guests, and team members, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. They also demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, believe in championing a fun and safe work environment, and contribute to thriving workplace culture.

What does a successful Front of House Supervisor look like?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Leadership: Open/close the restaurant, ensure FOH readiness, run pre-shifts, and secure cash and premises
  • Team Management: Supervise staff, assign duties, provide feedback, support training, and handle team issues
  • Guest Experience: Resolve guest concerns promptly and maintain high service standards
  • Operations: Oversee POS accuracy, support service flow, and step in during peak times or staffing gaps
  • Inventory: Maintain FOH supplies, control waste, and ensure proper stock levels
  • Financials: Manage cash handling, tip pool, and ensure accurate reporting of sales and discounts
  • Health & Safety: Enforce cleanliness and food safety standards as per BPI and Alberta Health
  • Communication: Report daily performance, issues, and improvements to management

Qualifications

  • 2 years management experience in a franchise or corporate restaurant. 
  • Boston Pizza FOH experience strongly preferred. 
  • Pro-Serve, First Aid, and Food Safety certifications required. 
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
